2016 Reunion
Greetings Everyone ~
The cruise is just 2 weeks away now and I wanted to touch base with you all. I want to thank all those who sent the $15pp “cashfree” fee but as of this moment 21 people have not sent their check. Chet and I are leaving for Florida next Monday and do not receive mail there so I’ll expect that those who have not paid the fee as of yet will bring their check with them onboard. Thank you!

If you haven’t done so already do the online check in. Be sure to bring those papers, passport and the credit card you used to check in online.
Suggestions:
Please CARRY ON any valuables, medications, auction/raffle items, personal items and clothes you plan to wear for the evening. Sometimes it can take awhile for the checked luggage to make it to the rooms. Rooms are usually not ready until at least 2pm
If you want to book excursions you can do so now through the Celebrity website using your reservation #
Once we board the ship Chet and I have no control over seating (which has already been faxed to them weeks ago) where, when, or with whom you dine, problems with your staterooms, photos, excursion difficulty, issues with liquor packages, cruise credits, etc. To RESOLVE ANY SITUATION YOU must talk to the customer service representatives or maître ‘d.
Information:
CHIC NIGHT ~ used to be formal night. You can dress as fancy as you’d like or just plain. I think of it this way. Chet and I never have the opportunity to have a nice professional picture taken of us so I try to get into a little bit nicer clothing than usual (I even put makeup on). But well laid plans don’t always workout though. Sometimes I’m too tired to get gussied up. So it’s really up to you. Some people onboard may have tuxes & gowns on others shirt/skirt and pants. They do however rent tuxes/gowns onboard the ship.
On Chic night I would like to get us together to attend the 9pm performance in the theater. I’ll ask when I board if they can block seats for us. I know everyone is eating at different times so this may not work for everyone.
I will also see if I can post our activities on the tvs so people can see any changes.
We realize that it is difficult to buy raffle tickets for unseen items but I believe I’ve devised a way to make additional raffle tickets available at the cocktail party. One can sign a $5. or $10. voucher (that we will have available) and trade it for tickets to put in the items of their choice. The voucher’s will have a monetary value that will be payable after the party/raffle preferably by check, so lets not forget to bring those check books.
Vouchers for extra tickets will be:
General ~ 10 for $5 or 25 for $10, ~
Ship ~ 2 for $5 or 5 for $10,
Baby tee ~ 2 for $5 or 5 for $10.
PLEASE remember to bring those raffle/auction items with you. Can’t wait to see what shows up this year.
A 50/50 might be done in the same fashion but we’re still working on the dynamics of that.
